It all started at Hainault Winery in Bickley Valley. Gemma and Alan are into wine. They also like Perth Hills. A decision to go to Bickley Valley for their pre-wedding session (I call them Be yourselves sessions) was a bit of a no-brainer. Only 30 minutes from Perth and one feels like in Margs. Swan Valley is quite nice too, but to be honest, it's not much of a valley. Hainoult Winery was a surprise find. It's not the easiest to find, but once you're there, it's great. Friendly atmosphere, good wine and an awesome view on an actual valley. They do weddings too, so get in touch before they get popular and expensive ;) We all got a bottle of something for later.

Secret Engagement session in North Fremantle Lizzy and Sam live in the same place where I used to live a few years ago. Right on the shore of Swan River, where you can still see dolphins almost every day. This bit of North Fremantle is nicely wedged between the ocean and river; water is always close by. There's an air of the old days in the area. It was great to revisit the shore in preparation for the session. Most people have to travel to be photographed. All Lizzy and Sam had to do was meet me at the front of the building :) There are many images here where Lizzy's hair almost blends in with the light of the sunset. It looks like gold on gold :) I'd like to say more about the session, but I can't. It's easy to say to much and spoil things to come.

City Beach in Perth. Sometimes the best colours appear just after the sun goes down.

Isaac grew up on a farm in Perth Hills. Fran comes from Brazil. The same farm will be the setting for their wedding. To say we had lots of fun together would be a an understatement. Fran got a glimpse of what is it like to live on a farm and a lesson in shooting and four wheel driving. Some wine was involved :)
