Surprise Proposal Photography
You're ready to propose to your partner, and that's huge. Focus on the moment and each other; I'll handle the rest.
Planning a surprise proposal is a big move, and I’m here to help you get the photography part right. We’ll work together to choose a discreet spot in your favourite area and a solid plan (I always scout the location beforehand).
I usually stay hidden in plain sight: pretending to be a bird photographer or a hobbyist testing a lens always works. My early days as a street photographer tought me how to be inconspicious. If things get really tough - I’ll become a sniper - hiding in the bushes is part of the job :)
The Best Light: While the "golden hour" right before sunset is usually best, Perth summers allow us to keep shooting even after the sun dips. The afterglow provides beautiful, soft reflected light that is perfect for photos.
If you’re planning to propose during the colder months we’ll have more flexibility. Winter light is softer and the early afternoon can be better (and warmer).
The Session Once you’ve had a few private moments to celebrate the "Yes," we’ll head into a short, relaxed engagement session while the excitement and emotions are still high.
Fast Delivery for Big News: I know you’ll want to share the news with family and friends. You’ll receive a selection of "sneak peek" images within 24 hours, and your full, high-resolution gallery will be delivered via an online link within a week. Want to see a full proposal story? Planning something epic outside the city? I'm happy to travel and am as adventurous as I have to be: I jumped out of planes solo, hitch-hiked to Corsica to visit a friend in the French Foreign Legion, used to rockclimb in Poland, and worked as a Dive Guide in Zanzibar, Africa.
Proposal coverage starts from just $600 for 1 hour. Send me a message :)
